Fish For A Future

Post  newsman on Sat Jul 10, 2010 10:40 pm

Just got back from being cooked while doing fly casting demo's in Steveston. More kids out to the event than last year, same old faces in the volunteer crew. Carlo say hello Andy. The pictures should be up on Fishingwithrod in a few days.

Doing 52 again tomorrow with my wife and daughter. Buy the way Justin my youngest is going to take first place in the Ladies cat, when BC has that tourney. She has been training with me for the last ten years and is a real predator.

Cool its good to hear that there are gals who are out there who can fish and get worm put on a hook. Its up to Dad's to take them out and give them good experiences fishing & catching. Looks like there will be a bunch of gals competing some day soon here in BC. Some one needs to open a woman's fishing shop/Guiding service in the Fraser Valley. Humm April Vokey perhaps! Later

Any Woman in a boat is a good Idea don't you think If fish aren't biting you always have nice scenery on board. Later

He is one of Rod's pals. Told me you tried to recruit for the club in the past; likes bass fishing but does not want to promote it here in the lower mainland.

Carlo and Marco are two of the top rods on Rod's sight. Man can those boys cast, makes my skill look farm league.
