Shore fishing suggestions

Post  Bent on Sat May 22, 2010 7:05 pm

Picked up a few rods from ESF and was hoping to just do a little shore fishing close to Chilliwack.
Would really appreciate some suggestions, maybe something in abbottsford or Gloucester ponds. I can find the few lakes in Abby OK, but wouldn't mind directions to Gloucester ponds.

I was on google earth are gloucester ponds off of gloucester way. It looks like there is a trail around them? Do you park on the road and hike in?

Rabbit knows all the details. He went there the other day and fisheries has signs all over there saying its illegal to fish there. Something about that too many poeple are fishing there and the pressure is too much

Who cares, its just a bunch of dinks anyway. I would rather catch 1 big fish than 30 dinks

There are lots of dinks in there....all different age groups.Ive seen a couple pictures of 5+ pounders from in there.....so there is always a chance of "the big one"
