In my opinion, the money would only go towards eradication. BC fisheries has jumped in bed with the trout/salmon,steelhaed elitests

I would support it only if we are allowed to use livewells like all other Canadian provinces. This province needs to pull its head out of its rear end

Ya hopefully. But remember, they are still in denial about stocking bass in BC years ago. Shawn has the proof of their lying to everyone. i just dont see them ever supporting the fishery. I hope I am wrong........

Tag for this and tag for that bull shite is garbage. Where does it end. I just cant believe people want to pay more money for this. Why Why Why... The bass are here. They are doing fine. What purpose would this serve ? I dont fish sturgeon above the mission bridge anymore because of a tag but i can plant my ass below and fish for free. The sturgeon are catch and release and are slowly bouncing back now wtf do i need to by a tag for to fish them. Same for the bass. They are doing great. This is nonsense. Which means it makes no sense just dollars to pay someones fat ass to sit in a chair and do nothing for bass. Unfreakin believeable. Rolling Eyes So i voted no Very Happy

I would consider another freshwater tag just another tax on top of the taxes that are taxing us to death! If it was introduced it would probably not be a Federal thing as you suggested Andy, as the Feds only look after the tidal waters. Fresh water licenses are Provincial. I really doubt that those two could get together on anything anyways, let alone managing $5 from every bass angler in the country!

If there was another tag approved for sale I am sure that the extra revenue it created would go towards paying for the Olympics...

Now if the funds were guaranteed to be used for improving existing Bass fisheries I would support it. If they said it would be used for Bass management I would not. BC Fisheries idea of management pretty much can be summed up to doing whatever they want, not what the people want.

That is my opinion.

Steve
