I just read that Cabela's is going to open their new store in Tulalip in March 2012. It's said to be smaller than some of their other stores, but carry the same amount of merchandise. This will be done by using the walls and ceiling for their well known taxidermy displays and freeing up the floor for gear.

Well, I think a spring road trip is in order !!

I recently joined this site in the hope of learning how to fish and get advice from the regulars on here.
A few weeks ago I purchased two rods from a friend who lives in Texas,I bought a casting rod and a spinning rod.Just the other day I purchased a reel for each of them,and a few accessories.
Are there any courses given in the lower mainland on how to fish,I know this sounds odd but …

Bit of a rant to begin, only because my first post was eated by the inter tubes. Some buttons shouldn't be touched, ...ever!!! Just got back from the Island, fishing was slow, but there were no crowds !!!

Just wondering why the Langley Wholesale Sports lacks the bass gear that Nanaimo has. Yeah, I know it's a smaller store, but there's piles of empty pegboard.

Had to go thru the garage the other day and found a huge tackle box of soft plastic bass lures and hooks. The box of lures was sealed perfectly, and the lures and hooks were like they were when bought.

I don't need them but I'm sure somebody can use them. (Rebel ring worms, Mann's jelly worms, and lot's of weird and wonderful etc)
